Love Your Pet SERVICE AREA for picking up/dropping off playgroup dogs, boarding dogs (Monday through Friday only) and cat visits is between Fullerton & Cermak, Pulaski & the I-90 Kennedy Expressway. You can always drop off your dog at our facility as well. Please call us to arrange.

Dog Play Group

Pet transport is available Monday through Friday for clients in our service area (see above). For half-day playgroup: Dogs spend 4-5 hours at LYP anytime between 10 AM & 4 PM and are billed the half day rates below. Add $3.50 to the rates each way to use pet transport to pick up, drop off, or both.

Love Your Pet can also accomodate customers who prefer a full-day playgroup, billed the full-day rates below, in which they would drop off their dog in the morning before work and pick them up in the evening after work. Please call us to arrange.

3, 4, or 5 visits per week: $15 half day; $20 all day
2 visits per week: $17 half day; $22 all day

Homestyle, Free-Roam Dog Boarding & Cat Boarding

Love Your Pet’s on-site operations manager lives at the facility and sleeps under the same roof in a loft just above where the pets sleep so you can feel confident about boarding your pet with us.

Dogs

(Rates include playgroup at no additional charge. An exit bath for $10 is automatically included (unless you opt out when you make your reservation) and recommended as the dogs play outside.

1 Dog: $35 per day (1-10 nights); $30 (11-14 nights);15 days and over: Call for rates.
(Discounts for multiple-dog households: 50% off each additional boarding dog)

Cats

1 Cat: $20 per day (1-10 nights); $16 (11-14 nights);15 days and over: Call for rates.  Additional cats are $5 each.  Must live in same household.

Payment is due in full 14 days prior to boarding (30 days prior to boarding between Nov. 17 through Jan. 8) to secure reservation and receive any discounts. Discounts are not applicable for payments received within 7 days prior to boarding (and 3 days prior to boarding for our playgroup clients) and a small convenience fee of $15 will be added and based on space availability.

(Payment is due in full 14 days prior to travel to secure reservation. For payments received within 10 days of travel, a small convenience fee of $10 will be added and reservation is not guaranteed until payment is received.)

Love Your Pet now carries premium pet food and merchandise for your beloved pet! We believe strongly in providing optimum nutrition for your dog or cat that will extend many healthly years to his or her life. Our prices are the best in town. Please send us an email if you are interested about any of our pet food lines and see if we can't beat the prices you currently pay. Include in the email the brand, flavor, size (in pounds) and the price you currently pay (before tax). If we don't have what you're looking for, we can get most items within a week. Jessica has been using positive and engaging training methods to solicit excellent results for nearly 10 years. She has worked with a variety of animals including: wolves, coyotes, foxes, bison as well as domestic animals including horses, birds, small animals and reptiles. She has a bachelors degree in Environmental Studies and is pursuing a masters in applied psychology. Her education has also included hands-on experience working with some of the world's best animal behavioralists, ethologists, and applied psychologists. Her knowledge of canine behavior has led her to appear in documentaries and to participate in the filming of wolves inside a home for the program "Life After People" on the History Channel. She has also used her expertise to impact laws affecting hunting dogs and captive wildlife in Indiana; achieving an end to running pens in the state. She is an advocate for pet rescue for many years; volunteering in shelters, designing training plans for volunteer implementation to help dogs become more adoptable, and coordinating adoption events and partnerships between shelters and pet specialty stores. She has also fostered and rescue dogs for many years.
